Manchester City winger Bernardo Silva is has decided to join this shocking European Champions League giant this morning
Bernardo Silva, a player for Manchester City, wants to know what will happen with his future by the end of Euro 2024 this summer.
Even though Silva still has two years left on his contract, he has been linked with a move to Barcelona for a long time and is known to be eager for a new challenge.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain both tried to sign Silva in the past, but he turned down the offer to play for the French team and instead signed a one-year deal with City last year.
But Silva might finally be ready to move on. The 29-year-old’s new contract is said to have a ÂŁ50 million release clause that can be used starting this summer.
Many of the best teams in Europe are now aware that Silva might be available. The Portugal star has asked to leave City in the past to be closer to his family. Pep Guardiola, the manager of City, thinks that Silva is one of his most important players and would hate to lose him. However, he has never stopped players from moving if they want to.
Ilkay Gundogan left City for Barcelona last summer, and Silva might want to join him at the Nou Camp. He could also be interested in joining Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix, who are both from Portugal.
Silva had a great seven-year run at City, winning the Premier League five times, the League Cup four times, the FA Cup twice, the Champions League once, and the Super Cup once.
