Former Manchester United Mid-fielder and French international Paul Pogba has terminated his contract with his recent club Juventus to join this shocking Premier League team
According to Paul Pogba, the rumors that he is in negotiations with Olympique Marseille are “not believable.”
Paul Pogba has spoken out on reports that, following the reduction of his four-year doping ban, he is in negotiations with a certain European team.
Following the announcement that the 31-year-old can return to action in March 2025, there has been much speculation linking the Frenchman to Ligue 1 powerhouse Olympique Marseille.
This came after Patrice Evra, a close friend and former teammate, stated he would speak with the club’s sports director, Medhi Benatia, to suggest that he trade for the 2018 FIFA World Cup victor.
Following an appeal, the Court of Arbitration for Sport considerably lowered Pogba’s suspension from the sport after he tested positive for testosterone at the beginning of the 2023–2024 season.
Pogba, who has maintained his innocence throughout, has been given the all-clear to play again next year, but it seems doubtful that he will stay at Juventus.
In the upcoming weeks, negotiations are apparently underway between the Bianconeri and the former Manchester United midfielder’s camp to mutually terminate the player’s contract, which runs until 2026.
Pogba brushed off the rumors that suggested Marseille may be his next stop as unreal.
“I chuckle because Uncle Pat made the comment in jest. It is not plausible because I am still under contract,” he said to L’Equipe.
