Chelsea Manager Mouricio Pochettino has been Sacked this Evening in shocking scene after drawing 2:2 to 20th Burnley in the premier league

Mauricio Pochettino, the head coach of Chelsea, couldn’t hide his anger after his team lost to Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon with ten men on the field.

Even though Lorenz Assignon was sent off in the first half, the Blues were held back twice by the relegation-threatened Clarets. Cole Palmer got the 17th and 18th goals of the 2023–24 season for Pochettino’s team, but it wasn’t enough.

Burnley got a point back in the 81st minute, just seconds after Palmer made it 2-1. Their boss, Vincent Kompany, was sent off. Raheem Sterling missed a big chance near the end of the game, and Pochettino’s team is still 11th in the Premier League.

Chelsea had 33 shots on goal against Burnley and had 69% of the ball with ten men on the field. They did, however, miss a number of big chances, which made Pochettino angry.

“I agree [two points taken away]. “Very upset with how we handled or managed the game in the second half,” the Argentine said. “We are a team that can make too many chances when we have the ball and are moving forward, though we might not score all of them.”

“We need to improve our percentage in the game.”

He also said, “After today, we didn’t show the strength, the energy, or the anger.” Not the bare minimum to play in the Premier League. We give up too many goals in the defensive part.

“That is why I’m so angry and let down.” To be strong as a team, you need to be strong in your heart and mind more than in your legs. That’s sometimes the case, which is one reason why we’re moving so slowly in this area.

“That’s the important thing today. The goal is not to make excuses. The team played well, and we have energy when we’re moving forward. But when we don’t have the ball, we lose that energy.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t agree with the play when we don’t have the ball.” If we can keep moving and think of all the different ways to get through a team that plays with a very deep block, we’ll be able to make chances like we did.

“They are a very physical team, we need to be strong also and have the capacity to recover the ball too much.”

Pochettino’s comments are yet another clear sign that Chelsea wants to bring in a natural goal maker this summer. The west Londoners have continued to waste chances to score because Christopher Nkunku keeps getting hurt and Nicolas Jackson isn’t always reliable.
