“Pep Guardiola Bid to sign Serie A defender for £70 million but the bid was rejected the club wants £90 million

After talks, Manchester City has been told to pay £78m for Guardiola’s top goal.
Leny Yoro is a player that Pep Guardiola wants to sign from Lille. Manchester City now know how much it will cost to do so.

The number was made public by le10sport in France.

What’s new with Leny Yoro, who Manchester City wants? Let’s look…

Leny Yoro news
Well, le10sport said that Manchester City has recently started talks to sign the 18-year-old.

The French news source also said that Manchester United was in talks.

A new report from le10sport says that Lille wants €90m (£78m) to sell the defender in 2024.

It is said that PSG and Liverpool are also interested in signing Yoro. Lille probably thinks that by setting a price of £78 million, they can start a bidding war.

It’s possible that a deal could be made for less than £78m in the summer.

According to Le10sport, Lille has set an astronomically high price for Yoro because they were asked about a deal in January, which the Ligue 1 team doesn’t want to consider.

So far this season, the youngster has been a big surprise for Lille. He has scored three goals in 21 games and is now a regular starter.

Man City should not go with that price tag
Few teams could actually afford to pay this price, but Manchester City is one of them. The Citizens should not pay it.

Yoro still has a lot to show, and spending £78 million on an 18-year-old who has only played 37 times for his senior club would be a huge risk.

Manchester City just bought Josko Gvardiol for £77.6 million, so he is still getting used to the Etihad Stadium.

Gary Neville thinks the Croatian has had a hard time.

Because of this, it would make sense to focus on Gvardiol and make sure the Croatian international gets used to life in the Premier League before spending a lot of money on a second defence prospect.
