Manchester United has announced that Thier FLOP player Marcus Rashford will leave the club under TWO CONDITIONS
According to a source, Manchester United will only consider selling Marcus Rashford if he informs the team that he wants to go and if a “significant” deal is received.
With only eight goals and five assists in 40 appearances for the Red Devils this season, Rashford has found it difficult to maintain his excellent run of play.
According to a number of sources on Monday, United is willing to allow Rashford go as part of their summer rebuilding plans; the only players they consider off-limits are Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo.
According to The Athletic, Rashford’s sale would be contingent upon the simultaneous occurrence of two factors.
For United to contemplate a proposal for the forward, they would need to receive a significant offer, and the forward would need to request to leave the team.
United would want to hold onto Rashford and aid him in getting back to his 2022â2023 form, which included a career-high 30 goals and 10 assists in 56 appearances.
Earlier this year, 90min disclosed that Rashford was one of four players on Paris Saint-Germain’s shortlist of possible Kylian Mbappe replacements. In 2022 and 2023, Rashford met with PSG, but he believed he was using their interest as leverage to get a new contract with United. Ultimately, last summer, he signed a ÂŁ325,000-a-week agreement with United.
Manager of United Erik ten Hag has openly backed Rashford, who has voiced his disapproval of the taunts he has faced this season.
Prior to Saturday’s 1-1 tie with Burnley, Ten Hag stated, “I feel a lot of compassion for Rashy.” “He had a fantastic season with 30 goals last year, the finest season of his career.
“He didn’t perform this season, and many were really critical of him. I believe we must support him. He needs everyone’s support to return to the heights he reached the previous year.
“I believe he needs assistance. We are all aware of his abilities. We must all encourage him while simultaneously pushing him. We saw it last year when he was really talented, therefore he is capable of doing better than he is this year.”
