Former Chelsea manager and Chelsea player Frank Lampard has been appointed as the manager of this shocking Premier League Club

A new story says that Frank Lampard is an unexpected choice to be the new head coach of the Canada national team.

News outlet The Telegraph says that the Canadian Football Federation has put Lampard on a short list of managers for the 2026 World Cup, which they will co-host with Mexico and the US.

He hasn’t had a job since the end of last season, when he was Chelsea’s temporary manager and failed to make the team better. The news source said that Canada wants to talk to Lampard.

The 45-year-old is eager to return to management if the right chance comes up. The job in Canada might be appealing to him, but we don’t know yet.

Since John Herdman quit his job last summer to become manager of Toronto FC, Mauro Biello has been in charge of Canada but only temporarily. Lampard played for New York City FC for a year in the US near the end of his career, but he has never been a manager abroad.
