Despite Napoli’s interest as they seek a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who recently moved to Paris Saint-Germain, Garnacho is said to favor a move to Stamford Bridge, aiming to remain in the Premier League.
Recent reports indicate that Chelsea is intensifying its pursuit of the Argentine international, having held discussions over the past few days. Manchester United is believed to have set an asking price of £80 million for Garnacho. The club’s willingness to negotiate stems partly from financial pressures, as they work to finalize a £25 million transfer for Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu. Additionally, United is targeting Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich to bolster their attack, although they face stiff competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Aston Villa for his signature.
Despite being out of favor at times under manager Ruben Amorim, Garnacho started in United’s recent victories against Rangers and Fulham. Amorim praised the winger’s progress, telling TNT Sports, “I’m happy to have Garnacho here. He’s improving a lot. He’s a young, talented player.
