After Roy Keane scored four goals against Wolves, including a hat trick in the first half, Manchester City forward Erling Haaland gave him a straight answer.
In March, after having a tough game against Arsenal, who was in the running for the Premier League title, Keane said that the Norwegian’s style of play was like “that of a League Two player.”
When Keane talked to Sky Sports about the game after it was over, he quickly turned his attention to the 23-year-old scorer, who had a strangely quiet game in front of goal.

Pep Guardiola, City’s manager, responded to Keane by calling Haaland “the best scorer in the world” and saying that he was a key part of the team’s treble-winning season.
The ex-Republic of Ireland defender said on the Stick To Football show, which is brought to you by Sky Bet, that Guardiola has “guarantee” talked about the player’s form with his staff.
“I don’t see what the big deal is. Every week, I praise Erling Haaland and Manchester City, and I think he’s a great scorer.” But the way he plays in general is like a League Two guy. He added, “I’m glad you don’t agree with me; I don’t expect people to agree with me.”
