The Cameroonian shot-stopper has struggled with consistency since his arrival, yet his backup, Altay Bayindir, has had minimal opportunities to prove himself. The Turkish goalkeeper only made his Europa League debut recently, despite being at the club for months.
While former manager Erik ten Hag rarely utilized Bayindir, the current boss, Ruben Amorim, has shown more willingness to integrate him into the squad. The 26-year-old has already made four starts under Amorim, including a standout performance in the FA Cup against Arsenal, where he made key penalty saves. However, reports from Turkey suggest Bayindir is unhappy with his limited role at Old Trafford and is keen to return to his home country to secure more playing time.
