Manchester United has taken a significant step regarding Jadon Sancho’s future

Jadon Sancho’s future has seen a significant step from Manchester United.

There were always going to be fallout once Jadon Sancho publicly dissented from Man United manager Erik ten Hag’s assessment of the precise nature of the issue between player and club on social media.

The Dutchman has previously demonstrated that he doesn’t care about reputations, dumping Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese’s interview with Piers Morgan and backtracking on his promise to give David de Gea a new contract so that he could replace him with Andre Onana as the team’s starting goalkeeper.

Sancho’s exact motivation for venting his resentment to the public is now unknown, but it is obvious that the club is treating the situation seriously even though it is thought that the message he posted has since been taken down.

The player will now practice separately from the first team, per a statement posted on the official Man United website.

Despite the fact that he will be aware that he won’t be eligible for selection at the moment, he has been given his own personal training schedule and will undoubtedly be expected to maintain his fitness.

The statement does go on to say that the punishment is suspended until the disciplinary matter has been resolved, which can be interpreted in one of two ways.

For the benefit of the team, both sides can choose to part ways amicably, or Ten Hag can choose to effectively wash his hands of the player and attempt to offload him as soon as possible.

One may think that United supporters won’t be particularly concerned if it’s the former, given that he hasn’t exactly lit up Old Trafford since joining.
