“If I play there for two years, I’ll earn an incredible amount. I had to play for 15 years, I may not even reach that amount…” Manchester City Star Kevin De Bruyne has decided to leave Manchester City this summer after speaking with the club, he is set to join this shocking Saudi Arabia Club

After the current campaign, the 32-year-old’s contract at Etihad Stadium expires. The Belgian international has been linked to a high-profile move to Saudi Arabia this summer, and the MLS has also emerged as a possible destination.

Last month, De Bruyne’s ninth season with Manchester City came to an end. The midfield standout helped Pep Guardiola’s team win the Premier League for a record-breaking fourth time in a row after recovering from hamstring surgery.

After undergoing surgery in August to treat a hamstring injury, the midfielder played a key role in 23 goals in 26 games for Manchester City in the 2023–24 season. He made a spectacular comeback at St James’ Park in late January.

With 180 direct goal involvements in the Premier League, De Bruyne has scored more goals for the Sky Blues this season than any other player. The Belgian has scored a number of significant goals in a variety of tournaments.

De Bruyne’s most recent appearance was against Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup Final loss at Wembley Stadium in May. The 32-year-old’s last goal came against Brighton in April.

De Bruyne’s tenure with Guardiola’s team may come to an end in north London, as the midfielder’s representation have held conversations with San Diego FC of the Major League Soccer league and Saudi Arabian teams are showing an increasing amount of interest in signing him this summer.

The midfielder has indicated in a shocking interview that he is willing to finalize a future move to Saudi Arabia, although Manchester City is still planning to undertake contract extension discussions with De Bruyne this summer.

“You have to be open at my age. You’re discussing enormous sums of money at a time when my career could be coming to an end. You have to consider that sometimes. I can make a huge amount of money there if I play for two years,” he said to outlet HLN Sport.

“I had to play football for fifteen years prior to it. I might not even get close to that sum yet. You then need to consider what that could imply going forward. However, I haven’t had to consider it as of yet.

For Michèle, my spouse, an unusual excursion is acceptable. We are also talking about these topics more and more as a family. My contract with Man City is still valid for another year, therefore I need to consider my options.

At eight years old, my eldest child has no knowledge of anything but England. How long will I play for Man City, he also asks? We’ll have to handle it a specific manner when the time comes, De Bruyne said.

Along with Kyle Walker, Ederson, and Matheus Nunes, Saudi Arabian teams are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City stars Kevin De Bruyne, Ederson, and Nunes.

In the past, City has demonstrated its readiness to deal with Saudi Arabian teams; both Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte finalized their moves from Etihad Stadium to the Middle East last summer.Atletico Madrid’s first aim this summer is reportedly Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez.

After his second season at the Etihad ended, the Spanish team has already made an approach for the Argentine. Alvarez is still lagging behind Erling Haaland in the City hierarchy, and Atletico wants to get the World Cup victor into their team.

Alvarez’s contract with Manchester United still has four years left, and Pep Guardiola has found methods to provide him with regular playing time. The former River Plate standout scored 17 goals in his rookie season, but he has only scored 19 goals overall. Marca is aware that Atletico has joined Barcelona in their admiration for the City player.

Alvaro Morata, Memphis Depay, and Antoine Griezmann are among the players Atletico has on its roster, but Alvarez’s fellow countryman Diego Simeone is eager to get him to the Wanda Metropolitano.

Given his talent, the 24-year-old might cost a high fee, but he has shown happiness in getting more minutes and has no intention of leaving. A few months back, he declared, “I played more this season. I had to be more patient the first year. I’ve played as a nine or a ten. However, I’m glad to be playing a lot more now.”

Guardiola and City have demonstrated that they are prepared to part with their best players should they decide to depart. In recent years, players like Raheem Sterling and Aymeric Laporte have been permitted to leave Manchester United, meaning that few, if any, have been retained when they desire a transfer elsewhere.

Ederson, the goalkeeper, has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia, while Kevin De Bruyne is another player who appears amenable to moving to the Middle East. Despite being considered the finest player in the Premier League, City’s No. 17 acknowledges that, at 32, he would have to consider offers that are more than generous.
