HERE WE GO! Manchester United Reach Agreement to Sign Éderson from Atalanta

Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of securing their first signing of the summer after reaching an agreement with Atalanta for the transfer of Brazilian midfielder Éderson.

Reports indicate that the deal has been finalised for a fee of around €45 million, with additional performance-based bonuses included in the package. The agreement comes after weeks of discussions between the two clubs as United pushed to strengthen their midfield options ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Éderson has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League side and is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year contract that will keep him at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.

The transfer is now believed to be entering its final phase, with medical tests and the remaining paperwork set to be completed before the club makes an official announcement.

Should everything proceed as planned, the Brazilian will become Michael Carrick’s first acquisition of the summer transfer window, marking an important step in Manchester United’s efforts to reinforce the squad and build a team capable of competing at the highest level next season.
