Former Manchester City Star Leroy Sane will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shock transfer to Premier League Rivals!

Manchester City had the weekend off to get back on track after losing the Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola’s team had lost their last three home games, so the international break was very welcome. A weekend off to get back on track would be great for City and help those suffering knocks heal.

The winners play again this weekend when Brighton, a surprise, comes to the Etihad. Today, October 16, here are the news stories you need to know.

Juve puts more emphasis on Haaland’s sadness
Giuseppe Marotta, who used to be the manager of Juventus, has said again that one of his biggest mistakes is not signing Erling Haaland.

In 2017, the star player for City was making his name at Molde in Norway. People who follow football and scouts were just learning about a very good goal scorer. Juventus invited Haaland to Turin to watch a game with the full purpose of signing him for a lot less than what he is worth now.

Marotta, the former head of Juventus, told ilBianconero that not getting Haaland was a mistake. He then went on to say that he felt even worse about it, this time saying that money problems were to blame.

It was his biggest mistake not to sign Haaland when he was at Molde, he said. “We couldn’t finish the operation for economic reasons.”

Any return would be fine
A surprise return to the Premier League for Leroy Sane, a winger who used to play for City. A report in the Sunday Mirror says that Liverpool has made the Bayern Munich winger their “top target” to possibly replace Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian’s deal at Anfield ends in June 2025, and Saudi Arabia made several high-value offers to sign him during the summer transfer window.

There are more and more signs that the winger, who joined Liverpool in 2017, will move to the Gulf country, leaving Liverpool without a player to replace him. Since moving back to England six years ago, the 31-year-old has been nothing but great, scoring almost 200 goals in just over 300 games for Jurgen Klopp’s team.

The Merseysiders are said to have chosen Sane as their top choice to replace Salah, and the Mirror reports that they are “ready to smash” their transfer record to get him back to the Premier League.
