LISANDRO MARTÍNEZ REPORTEDLY CHALLENGES MANCHESTER UNITED’S LEADERSHIP AFTER THE 2-0 DEFEAT TO ATLÉTICO MADRID

Manchester United are facing fresh questions about their leadership after a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Atlético Madrid, with Lisandro Martínez reportedly calling for greater ambition, better recruitment and a stronger long-term plan at Old Trafford.

The Argentine defender believes blaming Michael Carrick every time results go wrong will not solve the club’s deeper problems. Manchester United have changed managers several times, yet concerns about squad quality, recruitment and consistency continue to haunt the club.

Attention is now turning towards technical director Jason Wilcox and the people responsible for building the squad. If United want to compete with Europe’s best, they must identify their weaknesses and bring in players who can make a real difference.

However, the players and Carrick cannot escape responsibility either. The manager must improve performances, while the squad must show greater discipline and take its chances when opportunities arise.

United need more than another expensive transfer window or a new manager. They need a clear vision, smart recruitment and accountability at every level.

THE BIG QUESTION IS: WILL MANCHESTER UNITED FINALLY FIX THE PROBLEMS BEHIND THE SCENES, OR WILL THEY KEEP REPEATING THE SAME MISTAKES?
