Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Galatasaray defender Wilfried Singo after the Ivorian’s impressive displays in European competition

Manchester United are reportedly tracking Wilfried Singo as they continue to explore defensive options ahead of the new season.

The Galatasaray defender has emerged as a player of interest for the Red Devils, with several Premier League clubs also believed to be monitoring his progress after a string of strong performances on the European stage.

Singo, 25, offers valuable versatility thanks to his ability to play as both a right-back and a right-sided centre-back, making him an appealing target for clubs looking to strengthen multiple defensive positions.

According to reports, Manchester United representatives were present during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League meeting with Ajax, where the Ivory Coast international impressed once again with a solid and assured performance.

Should United decide to pursue a deal, they would likely need to make a substantial financial commitment, with Singo reportedly valued between €40 million and €60 million.
