Manchester United could become a completely different side if Bruno Fernandes is supported by a stronger midfield unit alongside Kobbie Mainoo.
Picture Bruno operating with three energetic, top-class midfielders around him — players capable of covering huge distances, winning battles in the middle of the park, breaking up opposition attacks, and driving the team forward with relentless intensity. Such a setup would take much of the defensive burden off the Portuguese playmaker and allow him to focus on influencing games in the final third.
With greater freedom to dictate attacks, Fernandes could spend more time creating opportunities and less time worrying about tracking back or controlling transitions. That scenario becomes even more exciting when considering the attacking options potentially ahead of him.
