Manchester United have reached a full agreement with Atalanta to sign Brazilian midfielder Éderson

Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of completing the signing of Brazilian midfielder Éderson after reaching a full agreement with Atalanta over a summer transfer.

Reports indicate that the deal will cost the Premier League club an initial €40.5 million (£34 million), while a further €4.5 million (£3.8 million) could be paid through performance-related add-ons if certain conditions are met during the player’s time at Old Trafford.

Éderson is also said to have settled personal terms with the Red Devils and is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year contract. The agreement reportedly includes an option that would allow United to extend his stay by an additional 12 months.

Before the move can be officially confirmed, the 26-year-old must successfully complete a medical examination. If everything proceeds as expected, Manchester United are likely to unveil the midfielder as their newest signing in early July 2026.

According to reports from Sky Sports, the transfer process is now in its final phase, with only the remaining formalities standing between Éderson and an official switch to Old Trafford.
