Conor Gallagher will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shock transfer to Premier League Rivals this afternoon!

Conor Gallagher, a midfielder for Chelsea, has dropped a hint about his future with the club after rumours of a £40 million move to Tottenham in the January transfer window.

The Blues star, who has been named acting captain by manager Mauricio Pochettino, has already set up four goals in 23 games this season (2023–24). However, Gallagher is still rumoured to be leaving Stamford Bridge, with Spurs, Newcastle United, and West Ham all being interested.

football.london gets it Spurs and Chelsea are not in talks about Gallagher right now, but it is clear that the star player wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge in the past. Gallagher was asked about his future last month, after the international break and his call-up to England. He said, “Training and playing with midfielders worth 100 million pounds or more is good and shows where I’m at as well.” So I hope I can keep doing well so I can keep playing as many games as I can.

“His contract will be worked out, I’m sure. Everyone knows that Chelsea is my club and I love playing for them.” I’m loving the people right now, and I’m sure everything will work out in the end.

“It was a crazy period in terms of ins and outs at Chelsea in the summer and I had conversations with the manager and he expressed that he liked me as a player and I was in his plans and I was really happy with that.”

In an effort to keep him at SW6, even Pochettino has defended him. However, the Chelsea manager did say that the club, not him, makes the choice about whether the England international stays or not. “That’s between the club and the player,” he said.

I don’t need to say much because it’s not my choice. A leader, he is in the starting eleven for almost all of the games. I think the club should have players like him.

“He’s important because of what he stands for at Chelsea.” He is very dedicated and came from the academy. He knows who the club is and how to dress. On the pitch, you can see how he plays, runs, and fights. He does everything he can and is a very important player. Every coach wants this kind of player on their team.

The 23-year-old was captain for the 14th time this season in all competitions, leading Chelsea to a 3-2 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. In 12 league games, Pochettino’s team has only lost three times when he’s been in charge. But Gallagher has seemed to talk about his desire to stay with the club in more than just appearances.
