VERY SAD Chelsea News has been announced this afternoon as TWO Key players has been Banned by FA and will not Play against Crystal palace
Following the bans of Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino said his players are not indisciplined.
This season, the Blues have also received the most yellow cards.
Palmer and Sterling both received their fifth bookings of the season during last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Wolves.
The pair will now miss Wednesday’s game against Crystal Palace due to an automatic one-game suspension.
Chelsea had previously suspended Reece James, Malo Gusto, and Conor Gallagher after they were sent off earlier this season.
Summer signing Nicolas Jackson had only two yellow cards for the season and a two-match ban, which was also suspended in September.
“No, it’s representative that we play for Chelsea, we are in a big club, you feel the pressure,” Pochettino responded.
“When you are frustrated and lack the experience of other teams, you make a mistake.”
“This is Palmer’s first season as a regular for us.” It’s perfectly natural. The players are concerned, they want to win, and they are frustrated.
“This is not discipline. We need to improve our ability to read game situations.”
