Benoit Badiashile’s stunning blunder allowed the ball to fall to Matt Doherty, who was as free as a bird in the penalty area. The Republic of Ireland international sent the ball into the net to give Wolves a two-goal lead.

But, just when you thought Chelsea were gone, Christopher Nkunku scored on his Premier League debut to give Mauricio Pochettino’s team one last chance.
