After losing 2-1 to Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday, Chelsea fans want Mauricio Pochettino to be fired.
The former PSG coach is under a lot of heat after another lacklustre game on Christmas Eve at Molineux.
Chelsea hasn’t been very consistent in the Premier League this season. They’ve only won six of their first 18 games, even though they spent a lot of money on players over the summer.
Wolves scored two goals in the second half to beat Pochettino’s team and hand them their eighth loss of the season.
On his Premier League start, Christopher Nkunku scored with a header as a substitute in the 95th minute to cut the lead.
Fans of Chelsea have taken to social media to vent their anger. The term #Pochettinoout is currently popular on X.
Friedrich wrote on X, “Why would you put Nkunku on the bench and play two bad strikers instead?” Pochettino is out.

Pochettino, on the other hand, said that Chelsea earned more from the game.
“I think we deserved a lot more than what we got, but we can’t hide the fact that in the Premier League, if you aren’t clinical, you can’t complain about the result.”
“We had a lot of chances in the first half but didn’t score,” he said.
It will be important for Pochettino and the angry fans that Chelsea responds quickly when they play Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
