Reрortѕ Swіrl Around Emіlіano Martínez and Mancheѕter Unіted, But No Offіcіal Deal Yet

Despite widespread reports circulating online suggesting Emiliano Martínez has agreed to join Manchester United this summer, no official deal has been confirmed. The Aston Villa goalkeeper has been linked with a possible move away from Villa Park, with both Manchester United and Barcelona reportedly keeping a close watch on his situation.

Last summer, United were said to be on the verge of signing the Argentine shot-stopper, but Erik ten Hag eventually opted for André Onana, given their previous working relationship at Ajax. Martínez’s agent has since admitted that discussions with United did happen and nearly resulted in a transfer, but the negotiations collapsed before an agreement was reached.

Martínez remains under contract with Aston Villa until 2029, making any potential transfer a complicated and expensive one. As of now, there has been no formal bid from Manchester United, and neither club has made any official announcement about a summer move.

While speculation continues to swirl and fans grow excited about the possibility, the truth is that Martínez’s future is still undecided. Any potential transfer to Old Trafford remains just a rumour for the time being.
