‘I tried everything I could to parsuade him to join Totheham , but it appears that His mind is made up already’: Harry Kane has confirmed his Bayern Munich teammate has Snubbed Totheham and Chelsea to Join Manchester City in January
Recently, Chelsea and Jamal Musiala, a former player, have been linked. Jamal Musiala, who joined Bayern Munich from Chelsea, has developed into a fantastic offensive midfield player. And since he is so amazing, one of his teammates, Harry Kane, told ESPN FC that he wishes he played for England.
The 20-year-old represented the Three Lions all the way up to the U21 squad before choosing to play for his native Germany.
Journalist Simon Phillips asserted on his Substack last month that Chelsea’s top goal is Musiala. But if the Blues choose to re-sign him, they will have to shell out a tonne of cash.
Wishing Jamal Musiala had played for England, Harry Kane
When asked which German player he wished was an Englishman, Kane said, “I’m currently playing with Jamal Musiala,” to ESPN FC. Despite being essentially English, he decided to play for Germany.
He’s such a talented player, and I would have preferred it if he had chosen England rather Germany.
Jamal Musiala is a fantastic athlete.
If Chelsea could re-sign Musiala, it would be absolutely fantastic. The Germany international is arguably among the top players in the world for his position, even though he is only 20 years old.
He can definitely cause issues with his dribbling since he is inventive.
Musiala is averaging 2.9 dribbles per game in the Bundesliga this season, according to WhoScored. In Thomas Tuchel’s team, only Leroy Sane (4.3) has a higher average.
The former Chelsea youth player finished the previous season in the highest division of German football with an average of 2.3, 12 goals, and 10 assists.
Thus, it is evident that Musiala is a football player who brings about change. Although it is unfortunate that Chelsea was unable to sign the Germany international, perhaps they will have the opportunity to do so should Bayern be forced to sell soon.
The German powerhouses and Tuchel won’t have to fear just yet because Musiala’s contract doesn’t expire until 2026, though it would be advantageous for them if he signed a new agreement quickly.
