Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk were both missing from Chelsea’s squad for Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Brentford at Stamford Bridge.

Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson came in for the duo in the starting XI against Brentford.

“Enzo and Misha felt something in training yesterday,” said Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.

“Both have minor muscular damage. We hoped they’d be able to join the squad, but they’re not quite ready. They aren’t major difficulties, but we didn’t want to take any chances.”
