Manchester United Legend Rio Ferdinand has warned Mikel Arteta and Arsenal fans not to get too excited about Arsenal’s in-form player because he will soon return to playing RUBBISH

Don’t praise him just yet; the season is only beginning and he can turn out to be a dud.The Legend of Manchester United Mikel Arteta and Arsenal supporters have been cautioned by Rio Ferdinand not to get overly enthused because he will soon revert to playing garbage.

Jesus has already made an impact in north London, and the Brazilian’s supporters have been quick to heap praise on him.

Ferdinand has heard claims that Jesus has been ‘overshadowing’ Erling Haaland, the guy who has taken his place at Manchester City, and he wants Arsenal supporters to put things in perspective.

I believe that Jesus has had an incredible impact. On his FIVE YouTube channel, Ferdinand remarked.

“I think he was a fantastic signing for Arsenal, a truly significant acquisition, but please don’t go overboard like all Arsenal fans do,” I said.

“What are you talking about when you have [Erling] Haaland banging in a hat-trick at the weekend and you are going, “Oh, Jesus is overshadowing him still”?”

Jesus has played a significant role in Arsenal’s early-season success, which has put them two points behind the leaders in the Premier League table.

Jesus already has two goals and three assists in five games for Mikel Arteta’s team, who are yet to drop a league match.

Given that Jesus is now the main man at Arsenal after his £45 million deal, many anticipate that he will be in the running for the season’s golden boot award.

“They are going to expect that expectation [of success] when you bring in top players who are coming from top clubs where they have been extremely successful over the years,” Earlier this month, Arteta stated.

“Gabriel’s role here will be very different from the role he played at his previous club; this will take some getting used to and time.”

We are amazed at how quickly he completed it, but we must share the blame. He did it extremely well.

Ferdinand, though, wants to maintain perspective because Haaland, the player who took Jesus’ place, has already scored six goals following the weekend’s first Premier League hat trick.
