Very SAD Mykhailo Mudryk NEWS has been announced this Afternoon after their Ukraine match Vs England
The injury concern for Mykhailo Mudryk came from Chelsea after Ukraine’s match with England.
Mykhailo Mudryk left the field during Saturday’s Euro 2024 qualifier match with what appeared to be a calf injury, which suggests that Chelsea’s injury problems could be about to grow worse.
When Ukraine and England drew 1-1, Mudryk started for Ukraine, but after getting hurt in Wroclaw, he requested to be replaced in the 90th minute.
The 22-year-old crumpled to the ground holding his leg after failing in a turn to get past Three Lions defender Kyle Walker.
In the first half, Mudryk also required medical attention after being hurt by Marcus Rashford’s challenge.
After that, Mudryk was allowed to continue, but his calf injury from the second half made it impossible for him to play on, therefore he was replaced.
There is already a significant list of injured players for Chelsea, including Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku, and Trevoh Chalobah.
Despite Mudryk’s difficulties at Stamford Bridge following his hefty Β£88.5 million deal, Mauricio Pochettino would experience a further blow if the Ukrainian left the club.
The Chelsea winger has currently appeared in 20 games for the west Londoners, contributing two assists along the way, but he is still without a goal for the Blues.
Chelsea recently gave Mudryk advice on how to start his Premier League career, including to cease lifting weights and cut back on his additional gym trips.
After losing to Nottingham Forest in their most recent game, the Blues will play again on Sunday when they travel to face AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.
