In January, Chelsea is interested in signing a Premier League striker with 46 goals and 15 assists.
Chelsea are interested in acquiring Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins in January, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
In his most recent podcast, he stated that Chelsea are trying to bolster their attack in January and are considering a number of alternatives, including the Aston Villa man.
He stated (through The Chelsea Chronicle):

“Those are the names I’ve been given this week by Chelsea that they are considering for the January window.”
Watkins has been a productive Villa striker over the years. In 122 games with Villa in all competitions, the Englishman has 46 goals and 15 assists. In six games this season, he has three goals and two assists.
His statistics are impressive, and with much Premier League experience under his belt, he may be a good signing for Pochettino.
