‘Paul Pogba is not finished, My last hope are with Manchester United, they are ready to give me one more chance to revive my career’ – Juventus midfielder vows to ‘fight injustice’ of four-year doping ban as he emphatically rules out retirement after meeting up with France squad at Euro 2024 explaining how he meet up with the Manchester United New owners to finalize the case and lift the Four Years ban from football.

Paul Pogba is determined to continue his football career despite a four-year suspension following a positive doping test in August 2023, which was confirmed by both his A and B samples. He is currently challenging this suspension at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Amidst speculation about his retirement, Pogba has clarified that any such rumors are unfounded. In an interview with Sky Sport Italia, he emphasized, ā€œIf I havenā€™t officially announced my retirement, then I am still active. I remain positive and am fighting against what I perceive as an injustice.ā€

He further explained that a video circulating online, which appeared to suggest he was ending his career, had been misleadingly edited. Pogba affirmed his commitment to football, stating, ā€œI am not done yet. Until you hear me say otherwise, thereā€™s no need to worry. I still view myself as a player. Iā€™m staying fit, staying positive, and although Iā€™m not on the pitch, Iā€™m enjoying time with my family and watching my children grow.ā€

Despite being sidelined, Pogba expressed his eagerness to return to football, likening himself to a young player with aspirations. He concluded with a hopeful outlook, ā€œIā€™m excited to get back to doing what I loveā€”playing football.ā€

Pogbaā€™s remarks underscore his determination to overcome this setback and return to the sport, depending on the outcome of his appeal.

Currently with Juventus on a reduced salary and inactive due to his suspension, Pogba addressed misconceptions about his contract ending on June 30. He confirmed that he remains a Juventus player, although there has been no recent communication from the club regarding his future. Despite the ban lasting until 2027, Pogba remains optimistic about an earlier return, pending the resolution of his legal battles.
