In an interview with Sky Sport Italia, he emphasized, “If I haven’t officially announced my retirement, then I am still active. I remain positive and am fighting against what I perceive as an injustice.”

He further explained that a video circulating online, which appeared to suggest he was ending his career, had been misleadingly edited. Pogba affirmed his commitment to football, stating, “I am not done yet. Until you hear me say otherwise, there’s no need to worry. I still view myself as a player. I’m staying fit, staying positive, and although I’m not on the pitch, I’m enjoying time with my family and watching my children grow.”

Despite being sidelined, Pogba expressed his eagerness to return to football, likening himself to a young player with aspirations. He concluded with a hopeful outlook, “I’m excited to get back to doing what I love—playing football.”

Currently with Juventus on a reduced salary and inactive due to his suspension, Pogba addressed misconceptions about his contract ending on June 30.
