“I gave by best to England and this is how the choose to repay me by kicking me off”-Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has finally broken silence after being kicked out of Garath Southgate England Squad

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire says he is “quite sad” that England will not be playing Euro 2024.

For his country, the center back has been a pillar and shown remarkable performance in past major events.

Having missed action since the April game with Burnley, he had hoped to recover from the calf problem ensuring he wouldn’t appear in the Emirates FA Cup final success against Manchester City.

Maguire joined Gareth Southgate’s temporary squad before the German championship, but he hasn’t been able to show his fitness in time.
“I am unhappy not to have been chosen to play for England at the Euros this summer,” he said on social media.

“I’m not getting well even though I’ve been attempting to cure a calf damage. Maybe in trying to achieve, I overworked myself. I am simply absolutely broken.

” Representing England gives me the greatest honour. For me, it is everything. Should I be unable to help the squad as a player, I will support them as a fan together with the rest of the country. Boys, go get it.

“I shall then return under the direction of the Manchester United medical department to be ready for the next season.”

Everyone at United naturally hopes Harry well in his recovery over our off-season.

With the England finals team confirmed, Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoos had better news.

Both Reds will represent the Three Lions in Germany following the cut.
