Cristiano Ronaldo has phoned not one, but two of his old colleagues to persuade them to join him at Al Nassr.

It follows Al Nassr’s loss to Al Hilal in the Saudi King’s Cup final on Friday.

Ronaldo burst into tears following the outcome, and he reportedly responded by making recruitment calls.

According to Spanish source Marca, Ronaldo personally phoned former Real Madrid colleagues Nacho and Casemiro to persuade them to join the Saudi Pro League club.

After a trophy-less season, the Portuguese superstar hopes his team can strengthen during the summer transfer window ahead of the upcoming season in Saudi Arabia.

He’s also selected seasoned players Nacho and Casemiro, both of whom face unclear club futures.

Nacho just won the Champions League with Real Madrid, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley Stadium last weekend.

His contract expires this summer, and he appears to be leaving the Spanish city following a successful tenure.

He has been linked with a transfer to the MLS, but the 39-year-old attacker wants the 34-year-old to join him in the Middle East.

The agile defender has made an astounding 364 appearances for the La Liga giants and earned several awards.
