Ederson wasn’t happy about being substituted by Pep despite being on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from Romero
Some people got Ederson’s phone number online and sent him texts from Arsenal and Tottenham fans. He then showed off the notes.
Although Manchester City beat Tottenham 2-0 on Tuesday, Ederson and Kevin De Bruyne got hurt and had to leave the game.
There were two bad hits on the Blues goalie. The first was from a clash with Cristian Romero. The second was from Pape Matar Sarr bringing De Bruyne down.
As Arsenal fans said, Stefan Ortega came on for Ederson and made a great save to keep Son Heung-min from tying the game in the 85th minute.
After Man City beat Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Brazilian goalkeeper went on social media to talk about the texts he got from fans after his phone number got out.
He put up a picture of his WhatsApp conversations that seemed to show texts from Spurs and Arsenal fans.
“Someone got my phone number and sent me some funny messages,” Ederson wrote, adding a picture of the messages.
