Fabrizio Romano reveals that Pep Guardiola is Set to sign Chelsea FLOP Midfielder who haven’t Scored nor asssited in 52 Appearance

EXCLUSIVE: “It’s true…” Romano says that Man City is interested in a struggling Chelsea back, which is a surprise.

A year ago at this time, Chelsea had just signed Marc Cucurella, and they were happy that they got him before Manchester City.

Now, a year later, we’re desperate to get rid of him. We almost managed to loan him out on the last day, but we’re still not sure what to do with our left back.

But it looks like there were already plans to move him on back in January. In an exclusive piece for Caughtoffside, Fabrizio Romano said that Manchester City tried to get him on loan in January, six months after they missed out on him in the summer:

“However, it is true that Manchester City made an offer to loan Marc Cucurella to Chelsea at the beginning of January. It also had a choice to buy, which was not required. Chelsea said no because they wanted Cucurella to stay with them, and since then, nothing else has happened between Cucurella and Man City.

Since Cucurella signed for so much money and is getting paid so much, it will be hard to get rid of him for good. Like so many of our other big-money deals that didn’t work out, he might get a few loans and then be quietly pushed out the back door.
