Teammate Lionel Messi from Argentina, Paulo Dybala, is said to want to join Barcelona and become an icon like Messi.
SPORT says Dybala has made himself available to Barcelona. The shooter from Argentina plays for AS Roma and has just over a year left on his deal.
Dybala, who is 30, wants to go to Spain and his deal lets him leave for €12 million. His play has been great this season. In 26 games across all events, he has scored 13 goals and set up seven others.
But Barcelona doesn’t think Dybala is a must-have, but they know he’s a possibility. The Catalan giants will likely have to start over with whoever takes over as manager at the end of the season.
Messi and Dybala played together on the Argentina national team, so Dybala may have learned a few things about the Barcelona team. The player who scored the most goals for Barcelona in history once went on and on about how the Roma striker saw him having a bright future.
