The world governing body of football (FIFA) has accepted Arthur Okonkwo’s switch of citizenship, which means he can now play for the senior national team of Nigeria. This is something that OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
22-year-old Okonkwo, who is on loan from Arsenal to English League Two team Wrexham, asked to change his nationality from English to Nigeria. He played 11 games as a junior youth international for England from U15 to U18, which was his last cap.
