“I called him on the phone to congratulate him, he’s a player i really love his attitude and commitments”- Real Madrid Star Jude Bellingham pours compliments on Arsenal’s guy who has scored more goals than Lewandowski and Vinicius Jr this season.

Rio Ferdinand, the former Manchester United defender, suggests that despite Rio’s reservations, Saka has already achieved world-class status. Ferdinand sees potential for Saka to further establish himself as a world-class player by leading Arsenal through the Champions League knockout stages. Despite Saka’s consistent performance for Arsenal over several seasons, he has only recently had the chance to play in the Champions League due to Arsenal’s qualification this season.

Saka has proven his abilities, securing a starting position on Arsenal’s right wing and being considered nearly “undroppable” when fit. Last season, he demonstrated excellence in the league with 14 goals and 11 assists, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s top wingers. This season, Saka continues his impressive form with ten goals and seven assists in 23 league games.

Although Saka has had a successful debut in the Champions League with three goals and four assists in five games, Ferdinand insists that true world-class status hinges on Saka’s performance in the upcoming Champions League knockout rounds. Despite Saka’s stellar contributions, Ferdinand believes he hasn’t proven himself at the highest level yet.

The anticipation is high as Arsenal, with Saka leading the charge, faces FC Porto in the Champions League round of 16. With the second leg scheduled for March 12th at the Emirates, there is optimism that Saka will continue to showcase his brilliance and potentially lead Arsenal to Champions League success, dispelling any doubts about his world-class status.
