Enzo Fernandez shuts exit rumours down with telling celebration after scoring against Aston Villa

After hitting a stunning free kick against Aston Villa, Enzo Fernandez put an end to rumours that he was going to leave Chelsea.

Chelsea wanted to get back on track after a recent run of bad luck when they went to Villa Park on Wednesday night to play Unai Emery’s Villa in an important FA Cup fourth-round repeat.

The team led 2-0 early on thanks to goals from Connor Gallagher and Nicolas Jackson.
After Chelsea’s recent losses to Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Pochettino is under more and more pressure to get better results.

There were a lot of people who thought Villa would beat their opponents, but Emery’s team was slow to start.

The Blues went ahead 3-0 in the second half when Argentine player Fernandez hit a beautiful free kick into the top corner of Emiliano Martinez’s goal.

In honour of his goa, Fernandez took off his shirt and showed it to the camera.
The player then made a hand motion that looked like it meant he was staying at the club.

There had been reports that he wanted to leave Chelsea, even though he had only been there a year.

Pochettino is sure he can turn this around, even though the heat is building.

“I think we’re all in this together, and that’s important,” he said. I got a great text message from [the owners].

“Of course, I talk to them and the director of sports every day.”

Pochettino also said, “We need to connect well with the fans.” Fans need to know that Chelsea, the project, and everything else are different when they go to Stamford Bridge. Players and staff need to find a way to connect with each other and make something they both like.

“We need to show the fans that we care about the club.” The players want to do well and win games, I promise you and the fans.
