Cesc Fàbregas’ alleged explosive verdict on a United star has sparked fresh controversy

Como manager Cesc Fàbregas has reportedly delivered a scathing assessment of Manchester United following their humiliating 4–1 Champions League defeat, raising fresh questions about the team’s mentality and Michael Carrick’s future at Old Trafford.

According to the claims, Fàbregas was particularly frustrated by what he perceived as poor body language, careless passing and a lack of commitment from some United players. He allegedly revealed that his players identified weaknesses in United’s midfield and exploited them throughout the contest.

The report claims Como deliberately targeted spaces between United’s midfield and defence, forcing their opponents into difficult situations. Whenever United surrendered possession, Como reportedly moved forward quickly, taking advantage of their opponents’ slow recovery runs and defensive disorganisation.

Nico Paz scored twice, while Anastasios Douvikas and Jacobo Ramón also found the net to complete Como’s dominant performance. Joshua Zirkzee scored a late consolation for United, but it did little to soften the disappointment of another damaging European night.

The result has intensified scrutiny of Carrick, with supporters increasingly concerned about the team’s performances, discipline and overall direction. Questions are also emerging about whether the manager can restore confidence and demand greater commitment from his squad.

With pressure continuing to mount, United desperately need a response before their season deteriorates further.
