Ian Wright praises Noni Madueke as a “real prospect,” but the Chelsea winger needs to improve his final product.
Frank Lampard singled out Madueke for praise for his performance in the Tuesday night loss to Arsenal. Madueke, who secured a £29 million contract with PSV during the January transfer window, was rewarded with another start against Bournemouth on Saturday.
The 21-year-old shined once more as Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 3-1 to snap a six-game losing streak.
Wright is also optimistic that Madueke, with continued practice on his final ball, can emerge as a major asset for Chelsea.

It’s his fourth league start; Frank started him at Arsenal and cited his hard effort in training to attempt to gain that consistency in order to try to break into the team, which he has done.
He gave Vina a lot of trouble today and was very, very nice.
The last ball was the source of his issues. He keeps holding onto it since, in the end, he needs to pick up on this knowledge fast in order to make wiser choices in that situation.

Lampard, meanwhile, acknowledged that they are still working on Madueke’s final pass and concurred with Wright’s post-match assessment.
After Chelsea defeated Bournemouth, Lampard remarked, “Noni was very sharp, considering he was not so well actually on Wednesday and Thursday, trained yesterday [Friday].”
However, I thought he played a really good and gritty game against Arsenal, scoring the goal.
