Fresh reports suggest that Manchester United and Liverpool are among seven major clubs monitoring the situation of Vinicius Junior, as uncertainty continues to surround his long-term future at Real Madrid.
Widely regarded as one of the elite players in world football, the Brazilian winger remains tied to Madrid until 2027, but speculation over his next move has persisted for months. Conflicting narratives have emerged from Spain—some suggesting the club could consider selling him in the upcoming transfer window to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing later, while others insist the intention is to keep him at all costs.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano recently clarified that Madrid’s hierarchy, led by club president Florentino Perez, are firmly focused on extending the player’s stay. According to him, the relationship between Vinicius and Perez remains strong, and the club has already tabled a renewal offer as they push to finalize a new agreement. Negotiations are ongoing, but Madrid’s stance has reportedly remained unchanged—they want him to continue as a key figure at the club.
Despite that commitment, no deal has yet been sealed, and the situation has left the door slightly open for potential suitors.
