,With the international break keeping Chelsea news thin on the ground, the club’s official website has at least given fans something to chew on — a short Q&A with Cole Palmer. That said, don’t expect any groundbreaking revelations; it’s a brief and fairly surface-level read.
What makes it entertaining, though, is picturing Palmer delivering his responses in his typically expressionless, nonchalant style.
When asked who’s first out to training, he replied that everyone heads out together — so essentially, all of them. Admittedly, it was a pretty uninspiring question, so an uninspiring answer feels appropriate.
But Palmer manages to raise the bar for brevity elsewhere. On what he does to kill time during away trips, his answer was simply that he sits on his phone. Not much to work with there.
And his pre-match ritual before leaving the dressing room? He’s not even sure — maybe has a drink, he thinks.
