VERY SAD Erling Haaland News has been announced this morning as the star Striker is not among the squad that travelled to Luton town today for Thier Premier League Clash
Reports say that Erling Haaland will not be able to play for Manchester City when they play Luton Town in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at Kenilworth Road.
During the first few weeks of the season, the Norway international forward has been scoring a lot. He has picked up where he left off from winning the Treble and breaking records all season long.
So far this season, Erling Haaland has played 22 times for Manchester City in the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FA Community Shield. He has scored 19 goals and set up 5 others.
But he won’t be contributing to another goal this weekend when Manchester City plays their next Premier League game; reports on Saturday night said he wasn’t in Pep Guardiola’s travelling group.
From what Jake Gorfin knows, Erling Haaland did not journey with the rest of Manchester City’s team on Saturday night before their game against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Sunday afternoon.
At this point, it’s still not clear why Haaland wasn’t included or what the Norwegian’s trouble is after playing the whole 90 minutes against Aston Villa last week.
The next game for Manchester City is away at Crvena zvezda in Serbia, which is the last game of their UEFA Champions League group stage season. They will then play the recently promoted team coached by Rob Edwards.
Pep Guardiola will be able to rest and rotate his team during that game because the defending Champions of Europe already won top spot in their group with a win over RB Leipzig in their most recent game.
