Reports suggest Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson is unlikely to stay at Bayern Munich after the season ends.
Bayern are believed to have a €65 million obligation to make the transfer permanent if specific conditions are met, but the striker is now unable to satisfy those criteria. Nevertheless, Jackson’s agent, Ali Barat, has insisted that a long-term future at the Allianz Arena has not been ruled out.
Speaking to Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Barat stressed that it is too early to make any firm decisions, noting that the season is still in its early stages. He added that the Senegal international has a long campaign ahead with Bayern.
Barat explained that discussions will take place at the end of the season, when all available options will be assessed before a joint decision is made.
Jackson, currently on international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, has registered five goals in 18 appearances for Bayern so far.
