According to ESPN, despite the recent managerial change at Stamford Bridge, Sterling’s difficult situation at Chelsea is being dictated by the ownership rather than representing a decision made by new manager Liam Rosenior.
Sterling hasn’t pulled on a Chelsea shirt since the conclusion of the 2023-24 season and has been banished to train away from the first-team setup since returning from his loan spell at Arsenal, with absolutely no signs suggesting he’ll ever feature for the club again.
Intriguingly, reports have emerged claiming that Sterling could potentially link up with Antonio Conte in Italy, as the former Chelsea boss is seriously considering launching a raid on his old club to bring the winger to Serie A.
