In January, Jose Mourinho wants to bring these two Chelsea stars to Roma.
According to Italian news site Calciomercato via SportsMole, Jose Mourinho wants to sign Chelsea players Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr before the January transfer market opens.
Under Mauricio Pochettino, neither player has played for Chelsea yet this season.
Chalobah hasn’t played in a few months because of an injury to his thigh, but there were rumours that he might leave the club over the summer, so he’s likely to leave soon.
Sarr hasn’t been called in with an injury of his own, but he hasn’t played in a single Chelsea game this season in any tournament.
The two players are thought to be less important at Chelsea now that Levi Colwill has returned from his loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion and Axel Disasi has joined from Monaco. The club may be willing to sell them in January.
Because they have only kept four clean sheets in their first 12 Serie A games this season, Mourinho is focusing on adding defence players in January.
