Former Chelsea and Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas has been appointed as the manager of this Top European Club and he will be leading them to the champions League next Season

Cesc Fabregas, a former standout player for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona, is primed to venture into his inaugural coaching role by assuming the helm at Como in Serie B.

Following Moreno Longo’s dismissal after Como’s 1-0 victory over Ascoli, reports, including Fabrizio Romano’s, suggest that the 36-year-old retired midfielder is poised to take over as Como’s head coach, stepping into Longo’s shoes.

Fabregas had previously taken on the role of coaching Como’s youth team last summer, marking his initial foray into coaching. His prior involvement with the club included competing in 17 Serie B games for Como in the previous season.

This appointment signifies Fabregas’s first stint as a first-team coach, despite his earlier tenure with Como’s youth squad. His background as a player boasted illustrious accomplishments, including lifting the World Cup and the European Championship twice with Spain. Moreover, he clinched domestic league titles in England and Spain during his tenures at Chelsea and Barcelona, respectively.

Como currently holds the sixth spot in the Serie B standings, tallying 21 points from 12 matches. The team is situated within the play-off zone but sits eight points behind the league leaders, Parma.
