Things go from bad to worse for Marcus Rashford as his confirmed transfer away from Manchester United is now uncertain after the player reportedly did not pass his medical examination.

Marcus Rashford’s potential move from Manchester United to AC Milan in the January transfer window faces uncertainty due to unexpected developments involving another player in Italy. Rashford, who has fallen out of favor under manager Ruben Amorim, has not played for United since their Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen on December 12. Amorim has openly questioned the player’s future at the club, with interest from Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, and AC Milan emerging as possible escape routes.

AC Milan, backed by advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic, had been leading the race to secure Rashford’s services, with discussions about a potential transfer to San Siro reportedly in progress. However, the situation has become complicated following a setback involving Milan forward Noah Okafor. Okafor was set to join RB Leipzig on loan, which would have freed up space for Rashford in the squad. But according to Sky Sports, Okafor’s move fell through after medical tests revealed a significant injury, forcing him to stay at Milan.

This development, coupled with Milan’s already stacked attacking lineup that includes Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, Samuel Chukwueze, and Alvaro Morata, leaves little room for Rashford. As a result, his transfer to the Italian side now appears to be in serious doubt.
