Mauricio Pochettino Speaks Out About Moises Caicedo’s Injury
It appears like you can’t go to a Chelsea game without becoming concerned about an injured player or two.
Chelsea fans now have to wait for scan results and see how players are doing after suffering yet another injury as the situation continues.
In Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage last night, a few players caused considerable anxiety.
Moises Caicedo played his best game in a Chelsea shirt yet, and it was fantastic to behold. But it was disappointing to see the midfielder hobble off at the conclusion of the game after colliding with former Blue Willian. Caicedo was forced to leave after the pair collided on the knees.
Fortunately, it appears to be little more than bruising, at least according to Mauricio Pochettino’s hopes and reports.
According to The Metro, Pochettino stated, “Caicedo was a contusion, but hopefully it’s nothing wrong.” He was exhausted, but it was only a contusion.”
