Bruno Guimarães is edging closer to a potential switch to Manchester United after reportedly reaching an understanding on personal terms, with a verbal agreement already sorted between both parties.

There are suggestions that fellow Brazilians Matheus Cunha and Casemiro may have quietly influenced the talks, helping smooth communication and push discussions forward behind the scenes.

The midfielder is believed to be fully receptive to the move, but Newcastle United are standing firm on their valuation, reportedly demanding a fee in the region of £70 million to £80 million.
