FIFA has officially SACKED the referees and officials involved in the controversial BARCELONA vs Atlético Madrid clash!

Barcelona’s head coach Hansi Flick has delivered a scathing criticism of the match officials following his team’s comprehensive 4-0 loss to Atletico Madrid.
In his post-match comments, Flick expressed his frustration by stating, “The referee essentially gave Atletico permission to play in this manner… He wasn’t issuing yellow cards to them despite the fact they were kicking our players all over the pitch.
“This pattern began from the opening moment of the match. There were absolutely no repercussions for their actions. None whatsoever!
“From my perspective, I witnessed that offside decision, and IN MY VIEW, THERE WAS NO OFFSIDE POSITION. How long did they spend reviewing it? Around 7 minutes? It appeared as though they were desperately searching for some justification to rule out the goal.
“On top of that, there’s no proper communication happening between the officials and the teams, we weren’t provided with any clear explanation!
“The standard of officiating here is absolutely terrible, the refereeing quality in this competition is extremely poor! It’s really, truly awful,” Flick continued to emphasize.
Despite the heavy first-leg defeat, Barcelona still have an opportunity to reverse the tie’s outcome when the second leg takes place at their home ground, Camp Nou.
