FIFA has rocked the football world by firing the entire officiating crew from the Real Madrid vs Liverpool clash. ‎The move came after evidence surfaced that referee ignored a blatant Vini Jr. penalty after being slapped in the face by Conor Bradley— and now, Liverpool could even face a shocking points deduction if the full truth comes to light

The Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr firmly believed he had earned a spot-kick for Real Madrid as the opening period against Liverpool was drawing to a close.

Finding himself in possession within the penalty area, Vinicius Jr faced off directly against Liverpool’s defender Conor Bradley in an isolated confrontation.

The Real Madrid attacking player fell to the ground theatrically within the eighteen-yard box, however his appeals proved unsuccessful as he was unable to persuade the match official to award a penalty in his team’s favor.

Throughout the entire first forty-five minutes of play against Liverpool, the Brazilian attacker was unable to register either a goal or an assist, meaning he will be required to elevate his performance level when play resumes after the interval.
